Branding & Identity
Lexington Market, America's longest running market, needed some help updating their brand identity. Their new brand and website kicked off a multitude of renovations during their 2015 Transform Lexington Market revitalization initiative. They wanted something fresh, friendly, and approachable, with a nod to Lexington's historic roots.
As the sole designer behind the project I was able to create a wide range of elements for Lexington Market including new logo; illustrate patterns and icons; photography of vendors, food, and architecture; a new website; and advertisements, posters, business cards, and signs.
Lexington Market hadn't updated their website in over a decade. Besides creating a new look and feel, I added custom illustrated sections to help customers learn about Lexington Market's history, goals, offerings, and location.

In the website photography, we wanted to show some of Lexington Market's most familiar faces. Along with a copy writer I created blog posts telling the stories of some of Lexington's famous vendors, their backgrounds and immigration stories, their path to starting a business, and their vision for Lexington Market's future.
